Reliable Care for the Whole Barnyard
Leaving town gets a little more complicated when “the pets” include horses waiting at the gate, chickens expecting breakfast, goats plotting something suspicious, and a barn full of routines that absolutely cannot be explained in three bullet points.
Our Farm & Barn Care is built for the animals, chores, and everyday rhythms that keep small farms and farmettes running while you’re away - from feeding and fresh water to turnout, bring-in, mucking, medications, blanketing, basic barn tasks, and keeping an experienced eye on how everybody is doing.
We learn your setup, because no two barns operate exactly alike - as anybody who has one already knows.

Because the barn doesn't take a vacation.
way more than filling a feed bucket
Care That Follows the Barn's Routine
Farm animals tend to have opinions about how the day is supposed to go.
Who gets fed first. Which horse gets which supplement. Who goes out with whom. Which goat is a complete menace. Which chicken somehow ends up exactly where she is not supposed to be.
We take the time to learn that routine before you leave. And because farm care can be physical, complex, and highly specific, we match each assignment with a caregiver who is actually comfortable with the animals and work involved.
Tailored care can include:
Feeding + Fresh Water
Turnout + Bring-In
Blanketing + Masking
Basic Stall + Barn Tasks
Fence, Gate + Property Checks
Medication Administration
Animal-Related Cleanup

A good barn visit should feel boring in the best possible way —
everyone fed, everyone where they belong, and nothing weird happening.

simple pricing for complex chores
Farm & Barn Care Pricing
Standard Visit
30 minutes
$49
Best for straightforward routines that fit comfortably into a standard visit - feeding, water, turnout or bring-in, medications, basic barn tasks, and a good look around to make sure everybody is where they should be.
Extended Visit
60 minutes
$69
For barns that simply take more time - more animals, more hands-on care, multiple routines, additional cleanup, or chores that can’t realistically be squeezed into a standard visit.
The Petite Feet Difference:
We don’t automatically tack on fees just because there are more animals or medications involved. If the workload genuinely changes the amount of time, handling, complexity, or physical work required, we’ll talk through it upfront and build the right visit around it.
the right person for the job
We Match the Sitter to the Barn
Farm & Barn Care isn’t something we assign casually.
A Pet Nanny who’s great with dogs and cats isn’t automatically the right person to handle horses, manage turnout, deal with livestock, or navigate a barn full of routines where one wrong gate can make the rest of the morning very interesting.
We look at the actual situation - the animals, the handling involved, the physical work, the medications, the setup, and the little details that matter - then match it with someone who’s genuinely comfortable doing the work.
That may mean:
- Horse handling and turnout
- Livestock feeding and watering
- Blanketing, masking, or spraying
- Medication routines
- Multiple barns, paddocks, or pastures
- Animals with strong personalities or specific handling needs
- Biters, kickers, darters, runners, escapees, yellers, and hiders
- Gates, latches, feed rooms, and barn systems that all have their own rules
And yes, we want to know which gate sticks, which horse is pushy, which goat thinks rules are suggestions, and which chicken will absolutely make a run for it.
✓ The barn should feel familiar to us before you ever leave town.

Care You Can See When You Come Home
It’s about knowing the animals were genuinely looked after, their behavior was noticed, their routines were respected, and the barn was cared for like it mattered.
Bob H., Farm & Barn Care Client - Greensburg, PA“Petite Feet Pet Care does a very good job with the horses and treats them not like they are a job but really cares for them, paying attention to their behavior and health problems. I find the barn cleaner than I keep it when I return home! The horses whinny ‘Where are my Pet Sitters?’ When I come home instead of being happy to see me!”
