Dog Hikes & Adventures

Bigger Days for Dogs Who Need More Than a Walk

Some dogs are perfectly happy with a stroll around the neighborhood.

Others would like to formally request woods, trails, smells, mud, hills, squirrels, and several miles of questionable decision-making.

That’s where Hikes & Adventures come in.

We pick your dog up at home, head out for a private adventure, give them real time to explore and burn off some steam, then bring them home tired, happy, and significantly more informed about every tree they encountered along the way.

It’s enrichment, exercise, fresh air, and one-on-one time with a familiar Petite Feet Pet Nanny . . .  just with a much better view.

More than a walk around the Block

Door to Trail and Back Again

Your Petite Feet Pet Nanny picks up your dog, heads out for a private outing, and gives them a chance to trade sidewalks for trails, fields, woods, water, hills, and whatever else makes their ears perk up.

The standard service is built around roughly 2 hours total, including pickup, transportation, adventure time, and the ride home.

And because this is private, we’re not loading your dog into a van with a rotating pack of strangers and hoping nobody is fighting by mile two.

That exclusivity means we match the adventure to the dog in front of us.

Depending on the day (and the dog), that might mean:

  • A wooded trail with plenty to sniff

  • A creekside wander

  • Exploring acres of open field

  • A dip in a creek or lake

  • A long uphill jaunt to really burn off that energy

  • A half-acre of totally fenced in privacy for ultimate off-leash fun

  • An afternoon of car rides, shopping, drive-thrus, and socializing

  • Ball tossing, frisbee throwing, stick chasing entertainment

  • Fur dried, paws wiped, and a treat to enjoy back at home

  • Photo shoots, water breaks, and enough sniffing to make absolutely no progress for several minutes at a time

For the Dogs Who Need a Bigger Day

A neighborhood walk is great. But for some dogs, it barely scratches the surface. They come home, drink some water, stare at you for six seconds, and are somehow ready to go again.

Hikes & Adventures are especially good for:

  • High-energy dogs who need way more than a trip around the block
  • Highly intelligent dogs who need varied experiences and environments
  • Young dogs with a lot of curiosity and nowhere near enough sense
  • Dogs who thrive on off-leash zoomies until their heart's content
  • Dogs who are involved in sporting, hunting, tracking or rescue
  • Dogs who love woods, trails, water, fields, and tons of new smells
  • Dogs whose parents want to give them a bigger experience than they can fit into the day themselves
  • Dogs whose parents need them out of the house (or their hair) for a bit
  • Dogs who simply seem happier after they’ve actually done something

And “adventure” doesn’t have to mean hard-core hiking.

For one dog, it might be a brisk trail with hills and plenty of mileage. For another, it might be a slower creekside wander with lots of sniffing, exploring, and absolutely no concern whatsoever for our schedule. And for another, it's a milkshake at the drive-thru . . . we ain't gonna lie.

✓ Some dogs don’t need “more exercise.”
They need somewhere worth going.

Big Adventures Are Even Better With Their BFF

“Sadie LOVES Mylyssa, she’s her new best friend! She loves to go swimming at all but especially with Mylyssa and it’s an even bigger plus that she gets a bath after her big day out swimming at the lake. Sadie has hip dysplasia but she’s all smiles and full of energy when she comes home . . . until bed time that is and she’s zonked out for the rest of the night. Sometimes I think she loves Mylyssa more than she loves her own Mommy but as long as she’s happy and in good hands, I couldn’t be happier!”
