Privacy Policy

It is the policy of Petite Feet Pet care, LLC to protect the privacy of our clients. We will never disclose to third parties any of our clients' personal information including name, phone number, address, e-mail, or pet(s) information - without expressed consent of the client. We also greatly respect the privacy of our clients' homes and will restrict our activities to only the areas we need access to in order to take care of our clients' pet(s). We value our clients' trust and would never do anything to violate our clients in any way, shape, or form.

Refusal of Service

Petite Feet Pet Care, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any client. We will not condone or engage in any activities that we feel are abusive - including means of training such as, but not limited to: food or water deprivation and infliction of physical pain. We will not service clients that do not meet our minimum standard of pet care - including, but not limited to: adequate food and water, shelter, medical treatment, and comfortable confinement. We will gladly offer our clients assistance and education on pet care in any way possible. However, as pet care professionals, it is our obligation to report any cases of severe neglect and/or abuse to the proper animal authorities.

Aggressive / Uncontrollable Animals

Petite Feet Pet Care, LLC reserves the right to require the use of a training or control device such as a Gentle Leader or muzzle in order to care for aggressive and/or uncontrollable animals. We also reserve the right to refuse service if the animal is aggressive and/or uncontrollable to the point that we feel that the animal may pose a threat to us or if we feel that we may not be able to maintain control of the animal at all times for its own safety.

Extreme Temperatures

Petite Feet Pet Care, LLC reserves the right to decrease outside time with pets in cases where temperatures are too hot or too cold for the safety of the animal. The remainder of the visit will be spent indoors with the animal receiving the same degree of play time/exercise.

Off-Leash Policies

We do not allow dogs off-leash for any reason unless the dogs are in their own fenced in yard or invisible-fenced area. We do not accept responsibility or liability for any animals that escape or become lost or injured, fatal or otherwise, when instructed to leave the client's animals in a fenced in area. This includes electronic, wood, metal, or any other type of fence.

Leaving Pets Unattended

We will never leave your pets unattended outdoors under any circumstances.

Hours of Visits

Our normal business hours are from 7AM-7PM. Overnight stays are not subject to our normal business hours. If our clients require a service outside of our normal business hours, we will be more than happy to discuss and arrange something with you.

Minimum Visits

When pet parents are away from the home for more than 24 hours, we require that we visit ADULT cats at least once per day and ADULT dogs at least three times per day. Kittens and puppies require more frequent visits (depending upon their age and living habits/confinement). These requirements allow us to keep the best track of your pets and help us all ensure their safety and health while you are away.

In general, we do not charge any additional fees based on the number of pets in the household. This applies to all services. The charge for additional pets will remain the same on holidays, all other fees will be increased.

A standard pet visit will be at least 30 minutes. During this time, we will attend to all of your pet's food, water, exercise, bathroom, social, and care needs. Additional time can be purchased in advance if desired/required.

Household Tasks

Household tasks are included in the standard pet visit and cover things such as watering plants, opening or closing drapes/blinds, bringing in the mail, and taking out garbage (if needed). If you would like for us to complete general or routine type of household tasks that exceed 10 minutes, we can do so for an additional fee. Extended household tasks are included in the overnight stays and cover things such as light cleaning (dusting/vacuuming), dishes, and other simple tasks. Please understand that we're not maids or cleaning personnel - our main focus is on your pets - however, we will do what we can to ensure that you come home to a clean, welcoming home.

Veterinary Tasks

Although we are trained in some aspects of medical care for pets, we are not veterinarians. Please seek the council of your veterinarian if you need a medical diagnosis, medical treatment, a prescription, or emergency medical care.

Sharing Duties with Other Parties
