Cat Sitting

Professional Cat Sitting in Westmoreland County

In-home cat care built around familiar routines, patient introductions, and all the tiny details cats absolutely notice.

Some cats greet us at the door. Some disappear the second they hear a key. Some will definitely know if dinner is four minutes late. We take the time to learn how your cat actually lives - where they hide, how they ask for attention, what “normal” looks like, and when they’d really rather be left alone.

The Little Things Matter

Cat Care Is In the Details

Cats don't always make a big production when something changes. A half-finished breakfast, a different hiding spot, a change in litter box habit, or a cat who suddenly wants more - or less - attention can tell you a lot when you actually know what's normal for them.

That's why our cat visits aren't just food, water, scoop, goodbye. We pay attention to appetite, litter habits, behavior, stress, energy, medications, and the dynamics between cats in multi-cat homes, while respecting the fact that some cats want company and others would prefer we admire them from a legally acceptable distance.

Cat Sitting visits can include:

  • Meal Prep + Fresh Water

  • Litter Box Care

  • Attention + Companionship
    (on their terms)

  • Play + Enrichment

  • Medication Administration

  • Pet-Related Cleanup

  • Adorable Photos

  • Detailed Updates

Some cats need five minutes to make a friend.
Some need five visits.
We're good with both.

Trust Can Take a Minute

We Don't Rush the Relationship

Some cats are ready to supervise the visit immediately. Others need a little more convincing. And some may decide the safest place to observe their new Pet Nanny is from underneath a bed, behind a chair, or somewhere known only to cats and structural engineers.

We don't force interaction just to make a visit look successful. We learn your cat's comfort level, favorite hiding places, routines, and signals . . . and let the relationship build at their pace.

That patience matters, especially with shy, anxious, senior, or easily stressed cats. Over time, familiarity makes it easier to notice when something about their behavior, appetite, litter habits, or routine feels different.

A good fit for straightforward routines: meals, fresh water, litter care, medications, a little play or attention, and a thorough check-in.

Better for multi-cat homes, longer medication routines, cats who need more companionship or enrichment, or households where there’s simply more to do without rushing.

The Petite Feet Difference:
We don't automatically add fees for multiple cats or giving medications.

Some Routines Take a Little More

No One "Just" Owns a Cat

Some cats need more than breakfast, fresh water, and a clean litter box. Their routine may include medications, special feeding, senior care, multiple cats with different needs, or a little creative cooperation when somebody has decided the Churu is acceptable but the medicine for sure is not.

Petite Feet has experience with oral and topical medications, insulin and other appropriate injections, subcutaneous fluids, assist feeding, and chronic condition routines. We also pay attention to the details around that care; appetite, litter habits, energy, behavior, and whether something seems different from your cat's normal.

Our goal is to make complicated care feel less dramatic.

✓ Your cat gets their own BFF. You get cat care you can count on.

It's More Than Dinner and Litter

When Cat Care Gets Complicated

Not all routines are simple. Not all cats are easy.

“Petite Feet Pet Care is a lifesaver! When one of my cats was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure, I was overwhelmed with Sub-Q fluid treatments, assist feedings, and medications. Mylyssa and Petite Feet helped me tremendously with all of these. It’s a great comfort to know that he is being fed and so well taken care of while I am at work. Even though he HATES being assist fed several times a day, my cat loves his sitter - giving her head butts and showing her his babies! The report card she leaves every day lets me know how he did and how he ate. All of my cats love Petite Feet Pet Care and I can relax so much more knowing that I can depend on them to take such great care of my babies!”

sometimes they need a little more

Cat Sitting Isn't Quite Enough?

Some households need longer companionship, overnight presence, help getting to appointments, or care that includes more than just the cats.

Not every cat needs the same type of care ♡

Overnight Pet Sitting

For cats who do better with someone there through the evening, overnight, and early morning routine.

Same care. More head boops. ♡

Extended / Continuous Care

For cats with specific needs that make a standard visit too short, such as separation anxiety, behavioral concerns, recovery after surgery or illness, or other situations where longer human presence is genuinely helpful.
