Extended / Continuous
Pet Care
For the Pets Who Need Us to Stay Awhile
The dog who starts worrying the minute the door closes.
The senior who sleeps most of the afternoon but shouldn’t really be alone that long.
The pet recovering from surgery who needs somebody nearby.
The puppy whose current life philosophy is “What if I put this in my mouth?”
The dogs who start to fight before you're even out of the driveway.
That’s what Extended / Continuous Pet Care is for.
Starting with a 2-hour minimum, your Petite Feet Pet Nanny stays longer and settles into your pet’s day instead of squeezing everything into a visit. We can keep them company, maintain a complicated routine, supervise recovery, work around separation-related needs, or simply be there when leaving them alone for several hours doesn’t feel right.
Sometimes the most helpful thing we can do is . . . stay.

♡ Unique needs. Special caregivers.
When a Visit Just Won't Cut It
The Formal "Please Don't Leave Yet" Service
Extended / Continuous Care is for the stretches of the day that don't fit neatly into a 30 or 60 minute visit.
Maybe your dog can handle being alone for a little while, but not for six hours. Maybe your senior pet is fine as long as somebody is nearby. Maybe recovery means medications, monitoring, restricted movement, or just keeping a determined patient from doing something they shouldn't.
And sometimes the need is less medical and more emotional: a pet who settles beautifully once someone is there, but spirals when the house goes quiet.
This kind of care is perfect for:
Pets with separation anxiety, fears, or phobias
Senior pets who need more support
Pets in recovery after injury, illness, or surgery
Puppies who need more supervision and structure
Pets with complicated medication or feeding routines
Multi-dog households where the dogs aren't getting along
Temporary high-needs situations
Because sometimes the difference between “okay” and truly comfortable is having someone stay a little longer.

When presence makes all the difference ♡
More Time. No Mystery Math.
Longer Stay. Easy Pay.
Extended / Continuous Care
2-hour min
$45/hr
Care during that time can include meals, medications, bathroom breaks, walks, play, enrichment, companionship, observation, pet-related cleanup, and all the quieter parts of care that don’t fit neatly into a checklist.
The Petite Feet Difference:
We don't charge automatic fees for additional pets or administering medications. If your household needs more time or a different care structure, we'll talk through that during your consultation.
Different Levels of "Hang Out a While" . . .
Does Your Pet Need Company - or Constant Company?
Extended Care is for the stuff that simply needs more time than a standard 30 or 60 minute visit can realistically handle.
Maybe you have several pets on different feeding schedules. Maybe medications take patience, timing, or a whole production involving pill pockets, bribery, and somebody hiding under the dining room table. Maybe one pet needs extra hands-on care while the others still have their own routines to get through.
It can also be the right fit when your pet can’t be left alone for a short stretch - like while you’re at an appointment, running an errand, or handling something that takes you out of the house for a couple of hours.
That’s Extended Care: more time when a normal visit just isn’t enough.
Continuous Care is the bigger commitment.
That’s for situations where your pet needs someone there for long stretches - more like a live-in Pet Nanny arrangement built around ongoing presence rather than a visit window.
It can make sense for pets with serious separation-related needs, fragile seniors, recovery situations, or households where being left alone for extended periods simply isn’t workable.
Different needs. Different setups. Same peace of mind.
✓ Extended Care fills the gap.
Continuous Care moves in for the long haul.

you can breathe. Rest. Relax.
Our Presence Provides Peace
Joni L., Pet Sitting Client - Greensburg, PA"Petite Feet Pet Care is beyond amazing! I was in a situation where the hours of help needed with my fur babies were unpredictable. You were there for me every time. My family and I can't thank you enough. Could not have done this without you. You totally put my mind at ease; this was the first time the fur babies had to be without me."
